Instead of extending straight into the room like conventional pet stairs, its platforms change direction as they rise, allowing the entire structure to sit close to a wall, sofa, bed, cabinet, or other furniture edge.

Why Pet Steps Have Always Taken Up Too Much Space

Traditional pet stairs usually follow one simple format:
Straight up. Straight out.

That means the higher the destination, the farther the stairs project into the room. Beside a sofa, they interrupt walkways. Beside a bed, they consume valuable floor space. In smaller apartments, they can quickly make the room feel crowded.

And visually, many pet stairs look exactly like what they are — an accessory placed beside otherwise carefully chosen furniture.

Corner Step was designed to solve the space problem differently. Rather than asking: “How can we make pet stairs smaller?”

We asked: “Why do pet stairs need to extend into the room at all?”

Corner Step uses a directional platform layout that turns as it rises. Instead of forming one long staircase, the stepping path follows the geometry of a corner. The result is a compact structure that can sit closely against two intersecting surfaces or alongside furniture where traditional stairs would occupy too much usable space.

Yet traditional pet furniture rarely takes advantage of them. Corner Step is designed specifically for these overlooked areas. Its turning configuration allows access to rise vertically while remaining visually and physically close to the surrounding furniture. That means less space dedicated to the structure and more space left available for everyday living.

Every level has a clear purpose. The separated levels help visually define the route upward. The edges and transitions are visually softened to complement furniture and reduce the harsh, industrial appearance common in conventional step products.
